TorahLovingCare (TLC) offers Infant (6 weeks to 17 months), Toddler (18mos-36mos) and Preschool (3 & 4 year old) Programs. At TorahLovingCare each child’s own unique social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development is valued and nurtured in a fun, loving, safe, creative learning environment imbued with Torah values and love of Hashem. The growth of Middos Tovos is nourished and further taught by example.

Toddlers are given ample opportunity to experiment and to construct new knowledge in a sensory rich environment and at a developmentally appropriate pace with supportive, loving Morahs. We honor their inquisitive nature and understand that they are forming new knowledge about the world around them with every interaction.

In the Preschool Program, we encourage problem solving and self-expression in a healthy constructive manner. Each child’s progress and development is monitored and, B’ezras Hashem, the four year olds will be academically prepared, as well as socially and emotionally, to enter their Kindergarten year.

Derech HaTorah of Rochester (DHR) is committed to providing a Torah education for all Jewish children. A seamless fusion of curricula has been developed to educate the whole child. DHR teaches a superior, scholastic curriculum that meets and exceeds New York State Education Department standards.

The intellectual and moral development of every student is maximized in a warm, nurturing learning environment. Each student is viewed as an individual, having multiple capacities, interests and intelligences. Thus, our educational philosophy reflects the wisdom of Shlomo HaMelech in Mishlei “חנוך לנער על פי דרכו” (educate each child according to his nature).
DHR teaches and models true Torah Hashkafos, where no child is ever left behind. With outstanding Rabbaim and Morahs, every child not only learns how to learn; but learns how to love learning.

Yeshiva of Rochester, also known as Talmudical Institute of Upstate New York, was founded in 1974 by Rabbi Menachem Davidowitz and Rabbi Dovid Harris, as the first external affiliate branch of Chofetz Chaim.

Today, the Yeshiva boasts a thriving Mesivta, Beis Medrash and Kollel. In this wholesome atmosphere, talmidim learn with hasmada, developing into high-quality, dedicated Bnei Torah.

The three pillars of the Mesivta’s success are the chevra, a balanced daily schedule, and a structured atmosphere of accountability. As the Yeshiva’s blend of local and out-of-town talmidim learn, grow, and excel, they develop a passion for Limud HaTorah and sterling middos.

The Yeshiva of Rochester, in more than four decades of service to כלל ישראל, has established an enviable national & international reputation. Our graduates have already assumed leadership positions in Jewish education across the nation.

Our Kollel Program has attracted some very talented young men, who have already begun spreading Torah in our community in addition to their long hours of study. In recent years, the Beis Medrash has grown into a full fledged מקום תורה where the voice of study can be heard throughout the day and into the very late evening.
