Preschool Director

Our non profit preschool is looking for a dynamic director who has the interpersonal skills necessary to lead a strong team of morahs and sustain a nurturing, stimulating, Torah environment for the children, staff and parents of our preschool/child care center, TorahLovingCare (TLC).
TLC is a NYS licensed, nonprofit entity established in 2017 and located in Rochester, NY.

We need someone to:

• Oversee the daily operation of the center and keep in compliance with NYS Regulations.
• Supervise, train and mentor staff.
• Build strong and healthy relationships with parents and schedule and facilitate biannual Parent-Teacher meetings.
• Conduct monthly inspections of the center’s physical facilities to observe possible fire and/or safety hazards in order to ensure a safe environment for the children.
• Schedule and facilitate all staff meetings, workshops, trainings.
• Keep updated records of staff files, children’s files and inspections as needed per state regulations.
• In addition to performing periodic informal observations and evaluations of all staff, the director will be responsible for the bi-annual formal evaluation of each staff member as well.
